So you have a great looking website, with great looking content, a blog and a working menu. Now it’s time to tighten up some of the other elements of your site to really make it stand out.
The first thing we are going to look at is your website’s header. The header is an area on the top of your site that contains your menu and logo (or site title/description).
Skizzar provides several layout options for your header and also allows you to change the appearance of it. Start by opening the customizer and on the left menu clicking on Header > Styling.
From here you can select a layout you like the look of, choose from Logo Left, Logo Right, Logo Top Center, Logo Top, Logo Center and Header Sidebar. These will each give you different header styles. You can also choose if you want your header to be sticky (i.e. follow the page down as the user scrolls), transparent overlay (where the header sits over the top of your first widget), add a search option to your header, change the header background colour and many more options.
If you navigate to Site Settings > Logo & Title on the left menu in the customizer, you can also change the Title/description text for your site, choose whether to display it in your header or not, add a logo to your header and change the logo size.
